Financialized content is a new type of media on the internet that is unique to Web3.
Zora is a platform and protocol that is among the inventors of this model. Since last summer, their latest protocol version lets creators mint new content and attach a coin directly to the media, enabling speculators and fans to invest in a content piece.
We’ve been working closely with leading wallets to help them integrate content coins into the wallet experience, and to make these content coin recommendations as personalized and as high-quality as possible. The filters below are the fruit of our learnings, and they’re directly accessible in the ❜embed console to play with now.
What Zora filters do
Essentially, filters let you create Zora coin feeds that reflect what you value whether that’s the most popular coins, most traded coins, emerging small cap coins, or the coins that have the most momentum.
Here are the filters available today:
- zora_price_in_usdc - current price
- zora_total_volume - lifetime traded volume which helps guard against illiquid assets
- zora_volume_24h - recent traded volume - a good proxy for near‑term interest
- zora_market_cap - circulating market cap which can help to filter for quality or more emergent coins
- zora_market_cap_delta_24h - 24h absolute or percent delta, filtering coins with momentum/trending
- zora_unique_holders - distribution/holder count; reduces sybil/whale risk
How to build a Zora coin feed
Currently, there are two possible candidate sources for content coins in the feed builder.
- Sourcing candidates from Farcaster, filtering for posts mentioning the Zora.co domain using the “domain” parameter.
- Sourcing candidates from the Base app, filtering for posts coined in the Base app using the “Source App FIDs” parameter and the Base app FID: 309857.
Once you’ve set this up at candidate generation, you’ll need to select the Zora_Coin publication type in order to see Zora filters appear.

Tips for getting started
From experience, here are a few tips we’ve found that can help build good‑quality feeds.
For example, creating feeds with non zero market cap coins can help filter out coins that have never been traded. Setting the market cap minimum between 75 250 helps improve quality significantly. You can also use the number of holders to improve quality even more; coins with 3 or more holders tend to be better than those with fewer holders. Finally, you can use the market‑cap delta to filter for coins that have some momentum.
One thing you can do to ensure that your Zora coin feed is a mix of high quality coins and emergent creators is use the promotion feed that lets you mix two feeds together with your desired threshold. For example, injecting 20% of content coins from a second feed designed for discovery, while keeping 80% more tightly curated and high quality.
One thing you don’t want to do is over tighten your candidate pool by setting too‑high market caps too early.
