Build Zora feeds and unleash the power of onchain content

Announcement

Jul 18, 2025

This week, alongside our partnership on 'the base' app's discovery feed, we’re shipping the ability to create personalized feeds from Zora onchain content.

We've made it as simple as possible to develop and integrate Zora feeds in record time using our Zora feed template, SDK and react package. You can jump straight to our new guide where we walk you through how to spin up a Next.js mini-app that displays a Farcaster feed via ❜embed, detects Zora coin embeds, and lets users buy tokens directly in-feed.

Why onchain content?

A few months ago Zora upgraded its protocol to let creators mint any piece of content as a tradable ERC-20 token. This week, Base adopted this model in its new Everything App—every social post is now automatically minted on Zora. Onchain content is around the corner and this shift is about to reshape the way content is priced, distributed and consumed on the internet.

Under this new paradigm:

  • Creators can earn from their content without intermediaries

  • Communities can support and share a financial upside in the work of their favorite creators

  • Content is onchain and traceable back to its original author

New Zora filters and feed template available on embed

The ❜embed Feed Builder now includes dedicated filters for Zora images and videos, so you can specify exactly which media sources to include in a feed. These new filters are added on top of our existing set of filters for Farcaster images, videos and miniapps.

You can now filter for all content that has been posted to the Zora protocol through apps like Farcaster and the base app. We'll soon be adding more content sources including from the Zora protocol itself.

To make your life easier we've put a Zora feed template (ID: feed_624) together with base parameters that'll already give you a personalized feed.

How it works

Simply put, our algorithms scan and classify Farcaster posts, automatically identifying Zora-hosted videos and images posted by users.

How to get started

3 ways to get started:

  1. Follow the step by step developer guide.

  2. Go to the console.mbd.xyz Dashboard and find the Zora template. Click use and save the template to your feeds. You can now use the feed_ID in your API calls using our SDK.

  3. Create your own algo from scratch. Visit console.mbd.xyz and navigate to Feed Builder. Create a new feed and choose your desired publication types (Zora video, Zora images). Save the feed, then use the generated feed_ID in your API calls.

What's next

With these new filters you can easily create tailored video and content-coin feeds, letting users explore, consume, or trade media from creators across the Zora ecosystem—putting your app at the forefront of onchain content.
